RoguePlanetoid Weekly Update #59

It has been a while since there has been a RoguePlanetoid Weekly Update so is a good chance to go over all the things that have been
going on in June which started in the first week with a couple of events including AioT Hub event on
Building a Robot Arm with .NET 8, Raspberry Pi, Blazor and SignalR by Pete Gallagher who
kindly asked me to do a talk for .NET Notts in April where I did Take a Note of XAML with .NET 8 so was good to see their talk in return
along with another great Tech on the Tyne event on Generative AI: developing human potential.
The second week of June saw the WinUI Community Call which was great to go over what had been discussed
during Microsoft Build now that Windows Presentation Foundation and Windows App SDK are both viable and supported
options for developing desktop applications with .NET and I also wrote an Article about common .NET Myths
that are often mentioned when trying to get people to consider using .NET in their businesses and their startups.
The last part of June was a showcase of events from the first PLATFORM event hosted by Paul Lancaster
in Sunderland which I've attended those held in Newcastle to the Startup Awards North East 2024 where I saw amazing skill-ups,
start-ups and scale-ups talk about their fantastic ideas! There was also the biggest tech event of the year, now the second year of it being held, of TechNExt
where I attended and wrote about TechNExt 2024 - Day One, TechNExt 2024 - Day Three
and TechNExt 2024 - Day Four which were amazing and informative events with so much inspiration and information that was
fantastic to see and hear. It was also an honour to be featured in Issue 249 of the Newcastle Tech Digest
which featured my part in the North East Tech community which was amazing and humbling to read!
