GameCardr and ZuneCardr for Windows Phone 7
GameCardr and ZuneCardr are my two main launch apps for Windows Phone 7 - both will be made available for free from the Windows Phone Marketplace (acceptance permitting). GameCardr reads the public Xbox LIVE Gamer Card information - this is the same as the Gamer Card you might embed in a blog - there is a more extensive private API but I don’t have access to that. It allows people to add any Gamer Tag to the app and see the recently played games and gamerscore - what makes it a bit more useful is even offline you can view a group of cards, so very handy for adding some new friends gamer cards to which you can later add onto the Xbox 360 as friend.
ZuneCardr for Windows Phone 7 continues the ZuneCardr product I created which started as Windows Form then WPF then Silverlight, and will return to WPF to improve access experience in a few weeks. ZuneCardr accesses the public Zune Card information which is far more verbose than Gamer Card information and shows recently played Tracks, Artists and Badges (like achievements) plus Profile of a Zune Social member.
Both these apps are still in development and feel free to give feedback - even after launch they’ll be updated if need be with new features and improvements.
