UK TechDays Special: The Future of Cloud Development

I’ll be attending the UK TechDays Special: The Future of Cloud Development in London (invite code 6D4723) on October 5th. I’m hoping this event will be useful as cloud development is a major new area and look forward to seeing how this will unite Desktop, Web and Windows Phone 7 and learn more about cloud computing.

This is also an opportunity to see Steve Ballmer deliver a keynote speech in person as it is someone I’ve always wanted to see, I’ve only met a few Microsoft people in person, mostly from Microsoft UK and enjoyed speaking to them, including a couple of years ago showing my Zune 80 to someone from Microsoft Hardware who’d not seen one yet then! I’m hopeful I’ll get a chance to see a Windows Phone 7 device there, as I’ve only had the emulator to work with.

I’ll be in London from around 10:30 - 19:00 so I can have a look around, or if anyone wants to chat about Windows Phone 7 or check out my Zune HD, which I’ll be taking with me too!
